Author

Gloria Taylor Crone is the author of Strolling Adventure. Born and raised in Virginia, she lives in Yorktown and has spent more than twenty years as a museum educator at the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, sharing early American history with elementary school students.

During strolling excursions with her grandson Adam, Gloria became reconnected with the glorious beauty in the details of nature all around her — inspiration that grew into the songs and stories of the book.

Illustrator

Brandy Taylor Strzelecki brings more than twenty years of print and digital design to Strolling Adventure, combining handmade watercolor patterns and whimsical illustrations inspired by textures in nature. She lives with her family in historic Yorktown, Virginia.
